How Momentum Health Chiropractic Took Over San Luis Obispo on Google

The challenge

Dr. David Sedghi’s Momentum Health Chiropractic was already a respected practice in San Luis Obispo — but on Google, it was stuck in the middle of the pack. A local-search scan in September 2025 showed an average Google Maps rank of 7.4 across the city, drifting to 10–13 on the east side of town. Plenty of patients searching “chiropractor near me” simply never saw them, because the Map Pack only shows the top three.

What we did

CHIROBASIX built Momentum a modern, conversion-focused website and took over their local SEO — the unglamorous, compounding work that moves a practice up Google’s Map Pack: a dialed-in Google Business Profile, locally-relevant content, and the on-site and off-site signals Google weighs when it decides who ranks for “chiropractor” in San Luis Obispo.

The results

It worked — and the map tells it. By March 2026, the same 49-point scan averaged a Google Maps rank of 1.2, with Momentum ranking #1 at 46 of the 49 points measured across the city — up from zero #1 rankings six months earlier. From the coast to the vineyards, searching “chiropractor” now puts Momentum first.

The organic side followed the same curve. Per SEMrush, the practice’s count of keywords ranking on Google grew from roughly 140 in early 2025 to 483 by May 2026 — about 3.4× — and the climb was still accelerating. Momentum went from easy to miss to the chiropractor San Luis Obispo finds first.
